IBM has an unquestioned legacy of discovering, developing and bringing computing to mainstream business. 
 
Thomas J Watson used a horse carriage and knocked door to door to convince business of the importance of International Business Machines.
 
From those days to IBM’s recent “Smarter Planet” vision has lead the transformation of Planet Earth where Energy, Transportation, Water, Food, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Construction, Goods and Services has been delivered in the most optimized manner
 
Integration of emerging technologies coupled with modern innovations like social networking, cloud computing, mobile applications, internet of things are creating unprecedented amount of data which when processed by self learning models of artificial neural networks has given us predictive analysis capability with incredible accuracy
 
Based on Moore’s law it has been estimated that machine intelligence will catch up with human brain by 2045
 
Organizations with vision had taken serious note of the above trends and have started their transformation journey. IBM partnerd with these companies in providing end to end transformation solution by visioning, designing, integrating and implementing technologies for social networking, artificial intelligence, neural network models, mobility, cloud, big data, predictive analysis, etc…
 
For close to a decade, at IBM I was engaged with IBM clients(Public & Private) in architecting and delivering their Digital Transformation Program. These programs were collectively designed to transform and shape the socio, economic & political landscape of the future.

AVP – Transition & Transformation @ EXL Service

The focus at EXL was on developing Organizational Capability in the ITES/BPO space. EXL’s strategic direction given at that time was to position IT as a Catalyst for business growth. To meet the strategic objective my focus area for capability development within IT were the following:

Develop domain specific proprietary IT Solutions to deliver Managed BPO Services. Wage arbitrage not being a differentiator any more in the BPO space the focus was on leveraging IT to find innovative solutions to transform business processes to reduce transaction cost, increase agility and scalability.

Develop a team of IT Solution Architect with deep understanding of a specific business domain and existing and emerging technology landscape. Account Manager @ IBM

August 2010 – August 2011

As an Account Manager at IBM my primary responsibility was to construct partnerships with our client and maintain strong client relationships at all levels with the objective of being a trusted business partner. Responsible for translate customer requirements into formal agreements I worked on building and Implementing an Account Strategy by working proactively with client to identify their business objectives, priorities, directions and critical success factors. I was accountable for delivering against revenue, profit, quality and compliance goals.

Sr Manager – Service Introduction @ AXA Tech

April 2009 – July 2010

Based out of Bangalore, AXA Tech India was the captive IT entity of French Insurance giant AXA. AXA Tech India was responsible for providing IT Services to other AXA Group of Companies like AXA Insurance, AXA Life, AXA Asset Management, etc…
 
At AXA Tech I led the annual IT portfolio architecture and planning exercise for multiple AXA client accounts, working closely with client leadership teams and internal stakeholders. Facilitated strategic workshops to understand business growth objectives, operational improvement goals, success metrics, and the role of technology in enabling them. Translated business strategy into a prioritized solution roadmap, defining target architectures, dependency models, and resource allocation across the portfolio.
 
The planning lifecycle spanned the final quarter of the financial year and involved close collaboration between business, enterprise architecture, and delivery teams to shape a balanced, value-driven project portfolio aligned with client KPIs and long-term transformation goals.
 
 
Led post-implementation reviews with clients to validate that delivered solutions met defined success criteria, architectural intent, and performance KPIs, demonstrating measurable business impact and continuous improvement.

At Satyam I was working as a Consultant – Service Transformation. In this role I have designed and executed multiple consulting assignments for Insurance, Banking and Government clients spread globally  across Americas, Europe and Australia. 
 
I have solutioned and implemented multiple IT-Led projects resulting in significant improvement in Business Process matrices. 

Configuration Manager @ Accenture

Janurary 2005 – June 2006

At Accenture my role was that of a Configuration Manager responsible for managing federated CMDB with the Enterprise Management Team at Accenture’s Global Network Operation Center Bangalore. The team was responsible for maintenance & administration of an integrated set of Enterprise Management Tools(EM Tools) such as HP Openview, BMC Patrol, Smarts & Remedy. These tools were configured together to monitor business critical infrastructure devices and applications and generate tickets in Remedy. EM Tools are used by Accenture to provide managed network services to its client

Major Incident Manager @ Genpact

July 2002 – December 2005

Major Incident Manager at GECIS IT Services( Now Genpact). Experience in Service Delivery. GE Consumer Finance Americas has approximately 20 sites spread across USA, Canada, Mexico and India interconnected using T1/E1, T3/E3 links. Our responsibility included working with various Telecom Service Provider such as Sprint, MCI , Bell South and AT&T to ensure 100% connectivity Up Time between the sites.
 
In this role we managed Sev 1 outages, involved the Service Delivery Managers and various resolver group to restore services
